The Sahidic Standard Translation
This edition of the Coptic Old Testament represents a synthesis of the historical evidence, which is scattered and incomplete. Among the sources are usually fragmentary manuscripts with Biblical text, lectionaries, patristic references, and documentary texts.
In the case of the Sahidic Bible which is considered to be the oldest and most comprehensive Egyptian Bible translation project, the Sahidic Standard Translation available in the first part of the fifth century contained for the Old Testament part the following books.

Introduction
The Digital Critical Edition of the Coptic (Sahidic) Old Testament is a collaborative and modular enterprise that is prepared and completed over more than 20 years.
It consists of digital diplomatic editions of all the manuscripts that are part of the edition on the one hand and a proper digital critical edition of every biblical book that is contained in the Sahidic Old Testament on the other. Eventually, translations into modern languages (Arabic, English, German) will be presented as the final part of the edition.
Each biblical book is its own project. Hence, with each of it comes its Catalogue page, linked under "Manuscripts", and its own Edition page, linked under "Critical Edition". The Catalogue page is the entry point for the diplomatic transcriptions for a given biblical book and the Edition page allows a user to access the critical edition for said book.
